Here at Spring Blossoms Academy we believe in learning, the kind of learning that will make our child stand apart in future. XSEED TEACHING AND LEARNING
Our school offers the XSEED curriculum which is a research based academic method of teaching and learning. It is based on the XSEED method where concepts are taught through hands on experimentation followed by questioning, application and feedback. It includes the 5 A’s of transaction in the classroom – Aim, Action, Analysis, Application and Assessment. It replaces the one step ‘telling ‘ and memorization followed in traditional classrooms and focuses more on interactive transaction.
CURRICULUM
Pre KG to Grade VIII – XSEED syllabus for CBSE Curriculum Grade IX onwards – NCERT syllabus for CBSE Curriculum.
We strictly follow the XSEED 5 step learning approach which is planned strategically to incorporate the Aim, Activity, Analysis, Application and Assessment which emphasizes on the students interests, needs, aptitude and holistic development.
The Program is divided into: 1. Early Program : Pre KG – KG II
2. Junior Program : Grade 1 to Grade III
3. Middle Program 1 : Grade IV to Grade V
4. Middle Program 2 : Grade VI to VIII
Rules & Regulations
- Punctuality and regularity in attendance is a must for every child to be promoted to the next higher class. Poor attendance will entail penalty.
- Leave of absence should be submitted on the day the pupil reports to school and duly signed by the class-teacher/competent authority.
- Speaking English is mandatory inside and outside the school campus except on working Fridays where Hindi is the medium of conversation and related activities as implemented by the authorities
- Personal hygiene is a must for every child and is the sole responsibility of parents and guardians, failing which the child may entail a penalty.
- Parents are advised not to give pocket money to their wards. Students are prohibited to go out of the school campus once inside the school unless by permission of the competent authority.
- Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is strictly prohibited. The school is not responsible for goods lost.
- Tobacco products and tobacco related products are strictly prohibited.
- Damaging school property in any manner entails penalty and replacement will be imposed on the student involved in the act.
- Mobile phones and valuable articles should not be brought to the school. It will be confiscated by the office.
- The almanac should be used specifically page wise for the purpose as required and indicated.
- Uninformed absence from school for more than six days without any leave application or information can render the student to take re-admission or be issued TC by the authority.
- Strict disciplinary action amounting to the extent of expulsion will be taken against students found abusing substances such as drugs, alcohol, tobacco and tobacco related products etc.
- Transportation is available for the convenience of scholars who find it necessary to have it due to long distance residence for which monthly fees will be realised.
- Change of residence, phone numbers, guardians name etc should be intimated to the office for necessary compliance and convenience mandatorily.
- Students availing hostel facility must abide by the rules and regulations as applicable and prescribed by the management.
- Parents/guardians must attend PTM (Parents Teachers Meeting) as and when called for the upkeep and progress of their wards.
- School Fees and hostel fees must be paid /cleared on or before the 10th of every month failing which penalty will be imposed upon defaulters.
- Parents/guardians are requested not to enter the school campus chewing tobacco products as the school has been certified as a Tobacco Free Zone.
- Under no circumstance will a scholar be allowed to sit for/appear FA and SA if dues are pending.
- Medical report if any of any child suffering visual/hearing/internal/external physical problems must be intimated to the authority specifically in order so that the school can take proper necessary steps for the development and safety of such a child.
